No-Risk Option Trading

Make Money Trading - Free 5-Day Course

By Arnold Brown

If you've ever thought about option trading, then you know the problem traders first face. They want the leverage and potential profit of trading, but don't want to risk any money to try it out. I can relate because I was in the same boat back when I was getting started.

I'm fortunate that I was able to overcome my fear and take action. Because the results have not only shocked me -- they've changed my life!

When I say I overcame my fear, I didn't do it by rushing into the fray of the market. And I didn't do it by stuffing my head full of trading strategies and the latest news headlines.

What I did was far more beneficial. I started using a zero-risk method of option trading. What is this method? I will tell you... It's called "paper trading." Here's how it works...

When you paper trade, you don't risk any real money. You only pretend that you're risking money. First, you find a stock you want to trade. Second, you pretend that you've bought an option on that stock. Third, you record the price as if you had actually purchased the option contract.

After entering your trade on paper, simply track the price to see if it is moving in your favor or not.

Paper trading can be even more beneficial if you give yourself imaginary investment capital -- say $3,000. Then use this capital to buy and sell options. Simply subtract money from the balance when you buy an option. Then increase or decrease the balance when you close your position.

In this manner, you can see how good your trading skills really are. You can see if you would have actually made money or lost money in real-world situations.

Does this sound boring? Even if you think it is, I strongly encourage you to try it. Because I used this exact same strategy to develop my option trading skills.

Believe it or not, I didn't paper trade for a week or two; rather, I paper traded for a few months. This gave me deep insight into how options work, what I was doing right, and -- more importantly -- what I was doing wrong.

Think of it this way. Have you ever played the board game Monopoly? It's a simple game that teaches the basic principles of real estate investing. By playing the game, you naturally acquire some of the real skills you would need if you were to buy and rent property as a landlord.

Paper trading is similar. It is a game you play to learn the skills required for being a successful option trader.

Experience is the best teacher, which is why paper trading is so effective. Even better, you won't lose so much as a nickel -- because you're not even using real money. It truly is no-risk since you've got nothing to lose!

Before risking another dollar in the market, discover option trading tips and tricks you can use immediately to win more trades and improve your portfolio.
